Education for Adults

SUNDAY MORNING GROUPS

Making Sense of Scripture:  an in-depth Bible study using Opening the Book of Faith.  This class meets in the Kairos Room at 9:30 am.

Honoring Our Neighbor’s Faith:  Where we as Lutherans will evaluate various traditions in light of our own faith tradition.  Meets in the Augsburg Room at 9:30 am.

Old Testament: Folks and their stories:  A scriptural review of some Old Testament people, events and how we stand on their foundation.  Meets in the Library at 9:30 am.

Contemporary Literature Class: a class for adults of all ages.  This is an interactive class where participants read contemporary literature and discuss from a Christian perspective.  Newcomers are always welcome. Meets in the Campus Room at 9:30 am.

Coffee and Conversation:  Connecting Sunday Lectionary readings with current events and our daily lives.  Meets in the Augsburg Room at 11 am.

 

YOUNG ADULTS

YAMS (Young Adults at Muhlenberg): The group for young adults meets once a month for fellowship and service activities. There are also YAMS small group Bible studies that meet twice monthly.
