ABOUT: Earth Day is an annual event (held on April 22) to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Now in its 53rd year, Earth Day includes a wide range of events coordinated globally including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries! The Harrisonburg Ecumenical Earth Day Worship Service - held this year on the day after Earth Day, Sunday April 23 - is a way for us all to gather together prayerfully to celebrate our shared commitment to faithful creation care.
