Worship With Us Here at 7:00PM on December 20th
What is a Longest Night Service?
The longest night of the year is December 21, and it has become a meaningful time to recognize that the Christmas season is often not all brightness and fun. In particular this year, we have much to grieve and many losses to acknowledge. Muhlenberg Lutheran Church is hosting this year’s ecumenical Longest Night worship service Sunday, December 20, 7:00 pm, on Facebook and YouTube. This service of word and song will provide an opportunity to be honest about our pain and be reminded of Christ’s light that shines into dark places.

Prayer Around the Cross at Muhlenberg Lutheran ChurchOn the East Market St. side of the building, you'll find a large cross with stone benches around it. You are invited to spend time in prayer here lifting up to God your hopes and dreams for the coming year. When you are done, take one of the black painted rocks from the base of the cross with a word you can carry into the new year.
