It's the biggest, best back to school party in the ‘Burg!

We are hosting the biggest, best, inclusive back-to-school party in the ‘Burg on Saturday, August 26, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm! The Great Community Play Date will bring together Muhlenbergers and our three school partners:  Second Home, Harrisonburg/Rockingham Day Care, and Minnick School. Kids will enjoy a bounce house, carnival games, chalk art, face painting, frozen treats (with non-dairy options included) and much more! 

*Plus - there will be a "sensory-friendly" time for kids and adults who need fun that's a little more calm and quiet. 

The Play Date will also celebrate our partnerships by gifting these three organizations with these much-needed play equipment and supplies:

EQUIPMENT DONATIONS:
You can purchase items from the Wish List above and either bring them to the Play Date event on August 26th or to Muhlenberg Lutheran Church on Sundays leading up to the 26th during service hours (i.e., between 8:30am and 12:00pm). We've created a Signup Genius list (see the button below - some additional items are listed), so you can see what's already been purchased, and check off any donations you are definitely bringing!
MONETARY DONATIONS:
You can also bring checks to church on Sundays leading up to the event (we'll have a collection in the Gathering Area) or you can give online at the link below - just look for the giving "tile" labeled "Great Community Play Date"!
