Hybrid Annual Meeting of the Congregation

The purpose of our Annual Congregational Meeting on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 12:15 pm in the Muhlenberg Activities Center (the MAC) is as follows:
Review and vote on the 2026 Spending Plan*
Elect two Congregation Council Members
Elect one Trustee
The meeting will begin with a potluck meal (see details below). A quorum of at least 10% of voting members is required for a congregational vote to occur (non-members are very welcome to attend, but are unable to vote). We hope everyone will plan to attend this gathering to participate in the life of our community here at Muhlenberg!
Council President Brad Moyers and Treasurer Sarah Sunde will be available in the Gathering Area on Sunday November 16, 2025 from 9:30 -11:00am to answer questions about the Spending Plan.

The Annual Meeting will include a potluck meal. To ensure we have a variety of food, we recommend those whose last name starts with...
A-K: bring side dish
L-O: bring casserole, chili, soup, or meat
P-Z: bring dessert
If you have a signature dish you prefer to share, please feel to bring it instead. Drinks will be provided. You do not need to bring a dish to attend. Anyone willing to help with setup, serving, or clean up, please contact Emily Carneal (emily.wicht@gmail.com or 540-421-1994).
The meeting will be held both in-person in the MAC as well as via Zoom. For Zoom participants, we will use our "Sunday Mornings at Muhlenberg" Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84731416878. On November 16 at 12:30pm (or up to 10 minutes before), you can click on the Zoom link to access.
Meeting Participation Instructions
The Congregational Meeting is a hybrid meeting - you can participate in-person or by using Zoom.
A.) In-Person Attendance: Join us in the MAC at 12:15pm to attend the meeting in person.
B.) Zoom Online Attendance: Please follow the instructions below:
STEP 1: Zoom Download
First, download the Zoom app. Go to https://zoom.us/download and follow the prompts for installation, as with any downloaded program.
STEP 2: Attending the Meeting
Once Zoom is downloaded, you’re ready to attend the meeting:
The potluck and then meeting is on Sunday, November 16 at 12:15pm. Please logon to Zoom at 12:30pm (and up to 10 minutes before the meeting) using the "Sunday Mornings at Muhlenberg" link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84731416878
Follow the prompts to run Zoom, and then wait for the meeting host to let you in.
If, for some reason, Zoom doesn’t open, you can always open Zoom manually, select “Join a meeting” and enter this 11-digit Meeting Code: 847 3141 6878.
Once you are admitted by the host, select “Join with computer audio”
For voting, please follow the instructions of the moderator so votes can be accurately tallied.
STEP 3: Zoom Etiquette
To assist moderators, edit your name on Zoom to include the names of all voting members in your home.
Mute your audio (click on the “Mute” option) until you are asked to unmute.
Make sure video is turned on so the host can see you and know you’re still logged in.
