Easter Sunday Worship - Sunday, April 5

Worship Services - 8:30am & 11:00am

Christ is our Risen Lord, and through him all creation is made new! On Easter Sunday, in word and feast, we celebrate God’s unending love. Join us for worship services at 8:30am or 11:00am with Holy Communion, special Easter Music, and more.

The 11:00am worship service will also be livestreamed to Facebook and YouTube, should you need to access worship remotely. You can find our livestream links HERE.

*Please note that Nursery will be open during both services!

Easter Brunch - 9:45am in the Muhlenberg Activities Center

Join us at 9:45am inside the MAC (Muhlenberg Activities Center) on Easter Sunday for our annual Easter Brunch and Egg Hunt!

The Fellowship Committee will provide breakfast meats, coffee, juice and tea. You are also welcome to bring food to share as suggested below (or feel free to bring your favorite signature dish):

Households with the last name:

A – K: Breakfast Casserole
L – P: Fruit
Q – Z: Breakfast Breads

Everyone is welcome, with or without something to share!

Easter Egg Hunt and Activities - 9:45am in the Muhlenberg Activities Center

Our Easter Egg Hunt will be inside the MAC on Easter Sunday at 9:45am, along with games and activities for kids of all ages!

Volunteers are needed to set up for the Easter Egg Hunt after the Easter Vigil on Saturday, April 4 (service is at 7:00pm). Extra adults will also be needed in the Nursery at both services Easter Sunday. If you are available to help, please contact Ashley Saunders (saunders@muhlenberglutheran.org)

Easter Family Photos - 9:30am - 10:45am in the Muhlenberg Activities Center

You can also have a special Family Photo taken on Easter Sunday, which will then be printed and mounted in an Easter frame!

Make sure to see Communication Minister Christian Perritt just inside the entrance to the MAC to pose for your photo sometime between 9:30-10:45am on Easter Sunday, and then pick up your printed and framed photo after the 11:00am service!

Muhlenberg Lutheran Church is located at 281 East Market Street (Route 33) near downtown Harrisonburg. We are 2 miles off of Exit 247 of Interstate 81. Harrisonburg, Harrisonburg is home to James Madison University, Eastern Mennonite University, Blue Ridge Community College, and neighbors with Bridgewater College, Massanutten Resort, and Shenandoah National Park.

Parking can be tight on Easter Sunday! Please take a look at the map below to help you navigate where to park as you prepare to worship with us. BLUE lots are safe to park in, and RED lots are off limits.
