Did you know the word “liturgy” means “work of the people”? Worship is not something that the pastor does while people watch — the liturgy is the responsibility of all the people of God! Lay Assisting Ministers (LAMs) are an important part of this shared leadership. 

LAMs assist with setup, distribution and cleanup of communion, lead prayers, and dismiss the congregation. It is a gift to serve God through serving in worship!
