‍ ‍We are delighted to announce CWS has moved into our third-floor office space! Established in 1988, CWS serves and advocates for refugees, asylum seekers, unaccompanied children and immigrants in the Shenandoah Valley.

‍ In early 2025, CWS’s plans to open a second office at Muhlenberg were scuttled due to drastic federal funding cuts. When their landlord declined to renew their lease, conversations about moving here began again. They are excited to make Muhlenberg their home base, and we are thrilled to have them working as a ministry partner in our space. This is full circle for them, as they rented office space from Muhlenberg in the early 1990s (when they were known as Refugee Resettlement)!

‍ ‍During the week, the red doors adjacent to the south parking lot will be exclusively for CWS. If you’re coming to the church, please use the main entrance in the Gathering Area.

‍ ‍We will share more about CWS, the work they do, and ways we can partner with them in the weeks to come. For now, we simply celebrate their new digs and our deepening partnership!
