EPIC Comes to MLC

Effective Practices for Innovative Congregations (EPIC) is a one-day leadership development conference that is designed to strengthen congregational members and rostered leaders for their ministries in the congregation and in the world. This event’s theme is Intertwining Hope and will include worship, a series of workshops, and fellowship time.

We will explore what it means to have Strong Connections through Intertwining Hope with topics that explore how to have Intertwining Hope in God and Intertwining Hope with each other.

This event is open to all people in the Virginia Synod and will feature times of worship and large-group presentations, as well as small-group breakout sessions led by Office of the Bishop Staff and local leaders. We hope attendees will also share their ideas and resources with one another for some holy cross-pollinating!

Registration for EPIC will close October 30. To register or for more information, visit https://vasynod.org/epic/. When registering, you’ll need to select the workshops you want to attend. If you are registering multiple people, you’ll need to have their workshop selections.

For more information about the event and workshop descriptions, please see a copy of the brochure at the Connection Center.
