“Foster Love Ministries” Presentation THIS Sun. Oct. 5!

This Sunday (10/5), from 9:45am - 10:45am in the Nielsen Room, Jennifer-Rose Eccles, the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Foster Love Ministries, will share exciting info about their mission to support at-risk and foster-placed youth in our community, and about how Muhlenberg can be part of this powerful work through CarePortal. *Adult Faith Formation classes will be canceled during this time, so that all can attend. CarePortal is a technology platform that connects local Department of Social Services caseworkers to churches, allowing them to respond to real-time needs of children and families in our community. Since launching in Harrisonburg–Rockingham County this past June, churches have already served over 55 children, meeting urgent needs like beds, car seats, clothing, and relational support. This is an incredible opportunity to tangibly love our neighbor with the mission field quite literally right outside our church doors.
